Carlton South Public School is a large, diverse and inclusive school with approximately 645 students, 75% of which come from a language background other than English. Our priorities for 2018-2020 are largely focused on the implementation of Visible Learning practices across the school, as well as utilising dynamic, evidence–based teaching practices that incorporate innovative digital technologies and personalised learning for every student. The school, staff and community are committed to the pursuit of excellence in all areas, with a focus on each student reaching their personal best using an innovative, differentiated and engaging curriculum. The school values its community partnerships which develop a sense of belonging for each student, as well as supporting the school's vision to empower students to develop a sense of personal and social responsibility for their actions.
