Carlingford Public School
provides quality learning programs in a caring, supportive and engaging
learning environment. Currently there are 790 students, including 87% of
students from a non-English speaking background. The school has a strong record
of achievements in academic, cultural and sporting pursuits.
Our staff range from recent graduates through to highly experienced teachers
who are extremely dedicated and passionate about our school. The school
has a high degree of community involvement and support of our programs and
initiatives.
Collaborative and consultative leadership drive the school's strategic
directions and school plan. Our school vision of âequity and excellenceâ is
reflected in our current school plan. In this environment, students are
encouraged to become future focused learners, who are critical and creative
thinkers, reflecting on their own learning. Our current school plan focuses on engaged
personalised learning, future focused learning and whole school wellbeing.
Student numbers have rapidly increased in recent years and will continue to do
so. This year construction will be completed on a $20 million facilities
upgrade. The three storey building will contain twenty state of the art
classrooms, shared learning spaces and new hall. An update to the existing
Administration building will begin in 2020.
