Surrounded by century-old gums, the property has a natural bush setting, with Marble Range as its backdrop. Stunning beaches are just 15-20 minutes to the west, so while coastal experiences are within easy reach, you are away from the sand and wind of sites right by the beach. It has a modern amenities block with lovely hot showers.
A spacious Recreation Hall offers table tennis, sporting equipment and orienteering maps to help explore the 21-hectare property.
Camp Nyroca is proudly owned and operated by Scouts SA - leaders in experiential learning and youth development activities- and is part of the Camps & Adventure Parks team, along with Woodhouse Adventure Park in the Adelaide Hills and Roonka River Adventure Park in the Riverland (right on the Murray River near Blanchetown). Each site offers bunk-style group accommodation, camping and outdoor adventure, ideal for school groups.
Camps at Nyroca are DIY, with schools arranging facilitation and catering.
Sharing your passion for creating equity in a child’s critical developmental years, with a primary goal of giving every student the opportunity to have a fun school camp experience, Camp Nyroca invites you to get in touch to discuss achieving your outdoor educational goals. Through a shared love of the outdoors and experience-based activities, Camp Nyroca contributes to better communities and a better world by creating environments that build group development, promote self-growth and create connections to nature.
All profit is returned to Scouts SA to help young South Australians achieve their personal best in all areas, including leadership, resilience, confidence and responsible independence.
