Business Educators Australasia Tasmania

The objectives of the Business Educators Australasia are to:

• Promote and extend accounting, business, commercial, economics, information management, legal and work-related education in the States, Territories and New Zealand
• Represent the views of educators associated with the teaching of accounting, business, commercial, economics, information management, legal and work related education and other related subjects
• Provide a forum for the membership
• Promote greater cooperation between the States, Territories and New Zealand in relation to business and related education
• Allow for an expression of a common voice on educational matters
• Uphold within the profession, and to proclaim in the community, the highest values of education
• Provide a means for the exchange of ideas about business and related education
• Publish and make available materials of value and interest to members of BEA and through affiliates to teachers
• Promote cooperation between and undertake liaison with similar associations of members of the teaching profession generally
• Encourage and provide for the publication of teaching papers or other information in the educational field generally or with particular to the above.
