Our primary and secondary education programs are inspired by the cultural, environmental and architectural heritage of the Bundanon Trust properties. Schools are able to tour the Bundanon Homestead and Arthur Boyd’s Studio, visit an Artist in Residence, experience the Boyd Collection, and engage in visual arts, visual design, design & technology workshops.
Bundanon is a great place for teacher retreats and professional development. Our immersive environmental education programs explore different vegetation communities and ecosystems on the properties.
Bundanon Trust was created from Arthur and Yvonne Boyd's gift to the Australian nation of the Bundanon properties and collections. The properties are located in pristine bush land overlooking the Shoalhaven River, on the South Coast of New South Wales near Nowra, two and a half hours south of Sydney.
The residential programs enable participants to gain an appreciation of the unique location and facilities of the Arthur and Yvonne Boyd Education Centre at Riversdale, designed by internationally celebrated Australian architect Glenn Murcutt in association with Reg Lark and Wendy Lewin.
