Bunbury Flying School is an Aviation training facility located at Bunbury Airport in the Scenic Southwest of Western Australia. The school has been in operation for over 20 years offering Commercial, Private and Recreational Pilot courses.
We are focussed on delivering high quality Aviation Courses which are CASA Approved and Industry recognised. We have a team of passionate and experienced Career Instructors to support and guide students through the duration of their course. We operate 7 days a week offering our students flexibility whilst learning to fly.
Bunbury Flying School has a large purpose-built facility offering a range of Equipment and Facilities to conduct our Flight Training. It is situated adjacent to the Bunbury Airport runway providing quick and convenient access. We also provide social and cultural spaces for students and staff to interact and enjoy.
Students can avail of our onsite student accommodation whilst completing their Flight Training. Accommodation is fully furnished and includes all essential amenities for a comfortable stay.
Location - We offer the perfect environment for Flight Training at Bunbury Airport which features an uncontrolled airspace with low traffic density, short taxi times and no landing fees. This results in quicker takes offs and maximising flying time.
Fleet - We operate a diverse fleet of aircraft providing students with varied Flight Training to meet their course requirements and assist with job readiness. Our fleet includes Cessna 172, Cessna 182, Cessna 206, Piper PA-44 Seminole and a Flight Simulator.
Bunbury Flying School offer Student accommodation for both long stay and short stay needs. We have a range of student accommodation options both onsite and offsite.
We are an approved VET Student Loans Provider and eligible students can utilise this loan scheme AVI50222 Diploma of Aviation (Commercial Pilots Licence) and AV50519 Diploma of Aviation (Instrument Rating)

We operate 6 days a week (Monday - Saturday) offering our students flexibility whilst learning to fly.
Flying in an uncontrollable airspace.

We frequently host student events such a BBQ’s and an end of year parties which are always a hit with our students as it gives them an opportunity to talk all things Aviation and make some great friends along the way.
