Budgewoi Public School is located on the northern end of the Central Coast of NSW. The school has a FOEI of 128 and currently has 535 students, with 79 identifying as Aboriginal. There are 22 mainstream classes, with four Special Education classes catering for students with mild and moderate learning disabilities. The school has a dedicated staff and an excellent reputation for its' outstanding positive supportive programs for all students. Major initiatives to improve student outcomes include Early Action for Success and Positive Behaviour for Learning. The school has a strong focus on literacy and numeracy.
Budgewoi Public School aims to provide quality learning where students experience success and are able to become independent, critical and reflective learners who reach their full potential.
The school has a strong working and supportive relationship with the P&C and a valued, consultative partnership with the Muru Bulbi Aboriginal Education Consultative Group. Budgewoi Public School is a proud partner of the Tuggerah Lakes Learning Community and works closely with the Wallarah Area learning Community.
