Brungle Public School is a small school set amongst a peaceful and tranquil setting which promotes positive learning in an exceptional school environment. It is situated halfway between Tumut and Gundagai on the Brungle Road. The school is home to the Brungle Environmental Aboriginal Education Centre with schools and other educational visits occurring throughout the year.
The school has an enrolment of 13 students from K-6. The school values a strong partnership with local Elders and the community to deliver a successful learning environment for students. Active teaching of Wiradjuri language and culture is a key feature of the school.
The school motto is-
‘Gadhaang Galinggabangbu Yalbiligirri’ which translates to ‘Happy Children Will Learn’.
