Bomaderry Public School is on the northern side of the Shoalhaven River and aims to be the centre of the community. A place where students, families and staff work together to create a learning environment where all community members feel known, valued and cared for.

Current student enrolment is 376, with a 2021 projection of 396. Our wonderful school boasts 15 mainstream classes, with 7 support classes and we are thrilled with the growth of our school. Our community is diverse in all aspects and we support all individuals through EALD programs, quality Aboriginal education programs, early intervention and early action for success initiatives. We enjoy working with external agencies and health professionals to maximise the learning and wellbeing opportunities for our students.

Staffing and school funding is used to support English and Mathematics programs that are data-driven and informed by evidence. Teacher training, Stage–based leadership and collaborative planning all have the ultimate aim of improving the quality of teaching and support in every classroom, for every student. Positive Behaviour for Learning and a highly effective Learning Support Team exists to promote engagement and a quality learning environment.
Equity funds have made it possible to run “HeadStart”, a free transition to school program, and establish a 2K Kindergarten class. Additional staff have been employed supporting improved student outcomes and wellbeing in the early years.

The school motto, which is incorporated into everyday practice, is: “Aiming High”.
