Boggabri is located 44 km north of Gunnedah. Boggabri Public School (P1) currently has 76 students with 25 % Aboriginal enrolments. Students learn in a stimulating and challenging environment and are encouraged to reach their full potential. Highly dedicated and talented teachers inspire a love of learning and provide quality teaching and learning opportunities that cater for all students. In term 4 2020, Boggabri PS will undertake its external validation. The school enjoys a strong, positive partnership with the school community. Boggabri PS provides a range of programs with a focus on literacy and numeracy, especially through its inclusion in Early Action for Success (Phase 2). Other key programs are: Think It-Write It, Multi Lit; Mini Lit and Quicksmart (Numeracy). The school runs a Kindergarten transition program called "Smart Start", which involves a strong partnership with the local pre-school. With the assistance of the school chaplain, the school operates two wellbeing programs for Year 6 students: 'Shine' (for girls) and 'Strength' (for boys). Boggabri PS has strong connections with other schools through the 'Namoi Partner Schools' as well as throughout the Mooki Principals' Network.
