Boggabilla
Central School is part of the Connected Communities strategy and sits on
Gomeroi country in North West NSW. Our school site hosts 70 students with 98%
Aboriginal students from Preschool to Year 12 and is located on the NSW/QLD
border.

Teachers
P-12 comprise of the early stages of their teaching career, as well as
experienced teachers and all are enthusiastic and willing to implement
innovative programs. Our school also boasts extensive Aboriginal cultural and
language programs.
The
school has a well-established School Reference Group and the school works
in partnership with the Boggabilla Toomelah Local AECG to achieve the best
learning outcomes for our students.
In
2020 there will be two primary classes each supported by a full-time SLSO. New
graduates and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply for this unique
opportunity to learn about local Aboriginal culture, history and social
experiences. Staffing will also be provided with support from our DP
Instructional Leader and an Intervention Support teacher in 2020.
We are looking for a vibrant teacher who is also willing to provide opportunities [music,
sport etc.] for our students to participate in extra-curricular and weekend
activities.
Teaching
staff live in the beautiful Queensland border town of Goondiwindi where you are
able to participate in activities at the local PCYC, gun club, golf club,
swimming pool, rugby club, soccer club, rugby league club, triathlon club,
Performing Arts Goondiwindi, Parkrun, boutiques, two major supermarkets, cafes,
banks, restaurants, cinema and theatre. The list is endless!
