Bobin Public School is a small rural school situated in a beautiful rural setting 25 kilometres from Wingham on the Mid North Coast. The school has an enrolment of 12 students who are taught in one multi–stage class.
In November 2019 the school was significantly impacted by a bush fire. Four out of five buildings were destroyed. The original school building, used as the school's library, remains. The school was rebuilt, ready for students, by the first day of Term 1, 2020.
Rich and diverse programs compliment modern technology, quality pedagogy and commitment to achieving academic excellence. The monitoring of a range of student performance data determines areas of need at an individual and whole-school level to ensure ongoing student and school improvement. Evidence-based teaching strategies are utilised to ensure students achieve expected growth and attainment in their learning. The school has a comprehensive range of extra curriculum activities to broaden and enrich the curriculum. Strong partnerships with the broader community continue to develop and strengthen to provide enhanced learning outcomes for all students.
Bobin School is a proud member of the Community of Wingham Schools. These links provide academic, social, sporting, and cultural opportunities for students, as well as professional learning and leadership development for staff.
