Barnsley Public School is situated on the eastern side of Lake Macquarie, with an enrolment of 322 in 2019. We base our policies and procedures on strong values and beliefs. Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) strategies based on the core values of: Learning, Respect and Responsibility are embedded into all aspects of school life.The school has 2 Autism units and a third BD unit is being created for 2020. This allows for an Assistant Principal to be appointed to oversee the support classes.
