Bardia Public School (Years K-6) has an enrolment of 505 students, including 68% students from a non-English speaking background and 3% Aboriginal. Every teacher at Bardia Public School undertakes research of evidence-based practice, particularly research pertaining to student self-regulation, visible learning, guided inquiry and structured dialogue. Selected practice is evaluated in the classroom by teacher teams who then lead professional development for their peers. At the commencement of 2019 the school occupied new facilities that include innovative learning environments. Teaching and learning at Bardia Public School is evidence based, complements 21st Century learning and is transitioning to a 1:1 ICT device ratio. By the conclusion of 2019 the school will boast having a four-class support unit for students with autism.
