Banora Point High School has a current enrolment of approximately 630 students, including 72 Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students and a special education unit for students with a range of disabilities. The school was established in 2004 and is currently in an exciting phase of its development. It is located in a growth area of the Far North Coast offering the facilities and services of a major metropolitan area. The school is strongly committed to collaboration with the Aurora Learning Community and the Tweed Valley Secondary Schools (Tweed 5) in developing stronger learning opportunities for students and has established strong relationships with local universities. Our areas for school improvement are learning culture, curriculum, student performance, wellbeing, effective use of data, professional standards, communications and leadership.
