Banksia Road Public School

Banksia Road Public School, established in 1959, is located in Greenacre on a spacious 4 hectares and is part of the Canterbury Network. It serves a diverse population with a current student enrolment of 567 students representing 24 nationalities. The school’s population is 95% NESB (Non English Speaking Background) with the predominant cultural background being Arabic at 83%. The school has an actively engaged P & C and enjoys a close partnership with its parent community.

The school provides a safe and secure learning environment which is underpinned by Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL). The school is part of the Early Action for Success with the practice of instructional leadership embedded K to 6.
