Bald Face Public School is located on the Bald Face peninsula, surrounded by the Georges River in the suburb of Blakehurst in Sydney's south. The school community is very supportive and has high expectations. Programs focus on developing the whole child in academic, sporting and cultural areas. There are approximately 280 students, representing a diverse range of backgrounds. The school is set in well-maintained surroundings with a large grass playground in addition to two large synthetic turf areas. Students and staff enjoy a modern and well-resourced learning environment. Students are encouraged to develop individual potential through extra- curricular programs in band, choir, music tuition and debating. There is the opportunity to develop leadership skills through the Student Representative Council. Sporting programs include team sports and students participate with success in the Botany Bay Primary School Sports Association competitions.
