Asquith Public School

Asquith Public School has an enrolment of 420 students, 43% from a non-English speaking
background. Our school is highly regarded within the community, with proactive
and supportive parental involvement. Parents and staff have high expectations for all students to maximise
their learning potential. The school has a cohesive mix of experienced and
early career teachers who promote the implementation of quality,
cross-curricular teaching and learning programs. The school fosters a culture
of thinking among staff and students. Asquith Public School has three support
classes (two MC classes and one IM class) and is a Positive Behaviour for
Learning (PBL) school. School priorities for 2018-2020 focus on developing
excellence in learning, quality teaching facilitating innovative practice and
distributed leadership and developing resilience to build positive
relationships and wellbeing.
