Ambarvale High School is a comprehensive Years 7-12 school with an enrolment of 797 students, which includes 61 students in our Support Unit. Our school has 33% of students identify as coming from a non-English speaking background and 13.6% identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. Ambarvale High School is committed to preparing students for the 21st Century. Our school has many innovative programs which provide opportunities for students to engage in creative thinking, problem solving and student-based learning. In 2018, our school was named by âThe Educatorâ as one of the top 40 innovative schools in Australia. We are committed to engaging support for our students in all areas of their school life. Our school is characterised by deep engagement with the community, including the educational community (partner schools, TAFE and universities), Government and non-Government agencies and businesses. Inter-agency and community partnerships play a pivotal role in the school's wellbeing, academic and vocational programs.
