Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle is based out of Kaiteriteri at the top of the South Island. The business is owned and operated by the Knapp family of Motueka who are long time locals and have a passion for the great outdoors and sea. We are the largest transport operator in the Abel Tasman National Park have been servicing the Abel Tasman for the past 15 years from small beginnings.
We have plenty of options available which include Scenic Cruises, Walks, Guided Kayaking (with our Kaiteriteri Kayak business), Stand up Paddle Boarding and a Water Taxi service to get you into the heart of the Park. We can create customised itineraries to suit the ability of your group to ensure you get the most out of your visit.
All our Guides are trained in safety and carry the relevant qualifications for our range of activities. The guides are very knowledgeable about the local area and pass on a wealth of information. We are ‘Adventure Audit’ approved and are Qualmark rated.
All our vessels have been designed and built in Motueka by the Directors of the business who play an active role in ensuring a total guest experience. Our vessels have been specifically designed for the sea conditions of the Abel Tasman National Park and offer a very comfortable experience. We operate a fleet of catamarans which are extremely stable, specially designed boarding ramps to allow boarding without getting the wet feet (on most occasions) and no steps or stairs which makes for easy access. All vessels have plenty of room to move around for you to view the secluded bays and golden beaches of the Abel Tasman coastline.
All our vessels have seating that is protected from the elements and they have many features designed especially for passenger comfort; sliding windows for viewing opportunities, on-board toilets, and a café so that you are always comfortable whilst travelling with us. The Crusader also has an upstairs viewing deck for those photo magic opportunities.
