In The Basket

This is a hands on activity – many items associated with the Jewish Religion are brought in to the learning centre in a basket. In pairs students are given an object to explore, they touch it, open it, try it on. They are then asked to draw the object. With their picture in hand the students go in to the museum to discover what their object is called, what it is used for and how it is made. Later on in the visit, each pair is asked to present their findings to the rest of the group.
