Victoria raises bar for teacher training standards
The Victorian Government has announced a series of reforms aimed at raising teaching standards across the state. The Excellence in Teacher Education reforms will raise admissions standards for teaching courses, and require prospective teachers to be in the top 30 per cent of academic performers to be eligible.
