New ‘high accuracy’ AI detection software launched

Turnitin has integrated a new service into its plagiarism detection software which it says can identify AI writing.

A recent UK study found that teachers are unable to detect written assignments produced by an AI.

Turnitin claims the technology can detect AI writing tools, including ChatGPT, with 98 per cent confidence.
