‘At best ineffective, at worst harmful’: Deb slams Govt's Reading Recovery persistence

Parents and teachers of children with dyslexia have lodged an official complaint with the Ombudsman, against the Ministry of Education’s continuation of Reading Recovery.

Founded back in the ’80s by Marie Clay, Reading Recovery has long been disproven in its effectiveness for all children, but especially children with dyslexia, Deb spokesperson Micaela Bonnar says.
