At Griffith University many of our academics are using the flipped classroom model and because of this we have developed Create Your Own (CYO) Studios that will be showcased at the conference.
All of our academic groups use the flipped classroom model in conjunction with Echo360 ALF to support staff and students. More recently we have begun to use Microsoft Teams to collaborate and share.
I hope to meet you at the conference. Our whole campus group looks forward to seeing you and your staff at the conference.

Education is changing across the World.
To stay relevant in today’s educational setting it is time to move from passive to active learning.
Flipped Learning is the active learning component. Move your organisation away from lecture style classrooms to more interactive workspaces, open plan learning environments and engaging classrooms.
This conference is for educators interested in active learning, flipped learning, blended learning and new and innovative uses of technology embedded in their teaching and learning programs.
Dr Tracey Muir from the University of Tasmania will present a keynote address about the findings from her research into the flipped classroom in secondary and senior secondary mathematics classrooms – particularly from the perspective of the students and the impact the approach has had on engaging them with mathematics.
Attend 1 or 2 days of outstanding professional learning, networking with some of the most innovative teachers in Australia and beyond.
