The Association of Independent Schools NSW (AISNSW), Catholic Education Diocese of Parramatta (CEDP) and Sydney Catholic Schools (SCS) will work collaboratively to “share knowledge, experience and expertise”.

Together, the groups represent more than 700 NSW schools.

“I am looking forward to working together and realising the benefits for all students and staff,” SCS executive director Tony Farley said.

“This is a great step forward.”

In a joint statement, CEDP executive director Greg Whitby and AISNSW chief executive Dr Geoff Newcombe also expressed their enthusiasm for the new partnership.

Potential areas for collaboration include investigating different models of learning, post-school options, professional learning and leadership programs, “digital learning solutions” and improving learning environments.
