The key roles and responsibilities of the Tuckshop Assistant include:
- Preparing and serving food and beverage items in a Category One Food Business
- Processing online Flexischool orders
- Receipting Point of Sale transactions such as cash and EFTPOS purchases over the counter
- Engaging with a variety of customers including parents/guardians, students, staff and suppliers
- Fulfilling additional catering requests
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen facilities
- Maintain a high level of Workplace Health and Safety standards
Desirable Criteria:
- Knowledge of online ordering system Flexischools
- Previous experience in food service business / hospitality / customer service focused role
- Computer savvy
Must possess:
- Blue Card before commencement
- I’m Alert Food Safety Certificate completed within the last 12months
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
