Position Information

Eagle Vale High School is a comprehensive high school situated in the Macarthur Region.  We serve the communities of Eagle Vale, Kearns, Claymore, Eschol Park, Blair Athol and Blairmount The school has an enrolment of 665 students, including 10% Aboriginal.

Specific Selection Criteria

Approval to teach Mathematics (Years 7-12) and Mathematics Extensions 1 & 2

 

  1. Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and evaluate innovative and differentiated Mathematics teaching and learning programs and assessment practices that focus on student growth and improving student outcomes. 
  2. Proven ability to use effective classroom management skills and wellbeing practices to create a classroom environment that is engaging, inclusive and fosters a culture of high expectations.
  3. Demonstrated capacity to support the school’s High Potential and Gifted education (HPGE) initiatives and activities, including the Eagle Vale High School Targeted Sports Program.
Conditions

An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
