Position Information
Carlingford High School, (enrolment 1770 students, including 83% from a non-English speaking background) is a comprehensive, co-educational school, with a strong commitment to and expectation of excellence. The delivery of quality literacy programs, the promotion of student well-being, and the ongoing development of high-quality teaching and learning programs are key strategic directions. Specific Selection Criteria
Approval to teach Hospitality - Commercial Cookery and Food and Beverage. Willingness to teach Technology Mandatory (7-8).
Capacity to develop and deliver effective and engaging teaching programs and cater for the needs of students from non English speaking backgrounds.
Capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team and willingness to contribute to whole school and faculty strategy and focus areas.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

Applicants seeking either permanent full time or permanent part time employment are encouraged to apply for this position. If the recommended applicant is seeking permanent part time employment (FTE from 0.1 to 0.9 inclusive), they will be offered an appointment at their desired FTE.
