  • Undertake research and critical analysis of contemporary policies and processes that support effective finance functions in client business units and contribute to the implementation of these where appropriate.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, management and review of functions and processes that contribute to improvements in business units' budgetary, financial and asset management practices.
  • Support the preparation of briefing material and reports for senior management on substantial budget and financial management issues using advanced accounting and information software programs.
  • Coordinate or assist in the development of training materials and delivery of training in budgetary and financial management processes for finance and non-finance staff in business units.
  • Build and sustain effective networks with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to ensure that knowledge and information is shared and organisational and client outcomes are achieved within determined frameworks and timeframes.
  • Model professional workplace behaviour by working collaboratively with colleagues, clients and stakeholders to achieve objectives and standards of excellence in all areas of responsibility.

About You:

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Collaborate effectively as a senior team member to implement performance strategies, policies, budgets, and financial reporting frameworks.
