Position: Science Teacher (Long Term) Location: Sheffield S4 Salary: £160-£240 per day Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:15 - 15:30

Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a new opportunity in Sheffield? Veritas Education are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team and inspire students in the fascinating world of science for a Secondary School in Sheffield.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and interactive science lessons to students across various age groups and abilities.
  • Foster a love for science and encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students.
  • Utilize a range of teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and promote student engagement.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the development of the science curriculum and share best practices.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.
  • Specialism in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
  • Proven experience teaching Science at Key Stages 4, and ideally 5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
