About the Department:

About the Role:
As the Manager you will:
- Manage and deliver best-fit Data Network Hardware and Structured Communications Cabling infrastructure solutions via a Vendor Delivery Model to the Department's Schools and Corporate offices sites.
- Provide high level strategic advice to senior officers of the department and other key stakeholders on issues relevant to the specific accountabilities of the role.
- Consult and negotiate with clients, senior management, suppliers, other public sector agencies and key stakeholders on the development and implementation of best practice, initiatives and service delivery standards.
People management duties
- Lead and manage multiple teams and projects and coordinate the development of systemic initiatives relating to departmental priorities.
- Promote leadership and foster a challenging, equitable, ethical and safe work environment for staff, which encourages commitment, skills development, professional growth and continuous improvement.
- Provide reporting and measurable actions to assist the team with best practice and follow ITSM processes.
