K-6 Teaching Staff

Prouille Catholic School, Wahroonga was originally opened by the Dominican Sisters in 1950. The school is situated on Sydney’s north shore and has a current enrolment of 289 students. Prouille’s vision is of a school community in which the person of Christ is central, the dignity and uniqueness of each person is respected, and each person is empowered to develop their full potential. The school has a commitment to Christian values and an excellence in education where the mission of parish and school is unified. The children are encouraged to integrate faith in their lives and the staff reflect Gospel values through words and actions.   • Sound understanding of K-6 pedagogy
  • Knowledge of the NSW Syllabus for the Australian Curriculum
  • Reflective practitioner with ability to differentiate teaching programs for individual student needs
  • Willingness to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a professional learning community
  • Flexibility, initiative and enthusiasm

Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
