HSIE Teacher 

The Senior School HSIE Teacher with a full-time teaching load, commencing in January 2025, is an ongoing position.

At Scots this position sits within the Human Society and its environment (HSIE) Department.

Applicants for this role will ideally have:

  • Qualifications in subject area and Teaching and or Education that allow registration as a Teacher in NSW.
  • Fulfil requirements as mandated by NESA.
  • An understanding of and experience in delivering HSIE NESA Courses Stages 4 & 5 will be an advantage.
  • An understanding of and experience in delivering Modern History and/or Ancient History and/or Society and Culture NESA Stage 6 Courses will highly regarded.
  • ​Current First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Current NSW Working With Children Check Clearance or willingness to obtain.
  • Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
