EXPERIENCED SCHOOL HR ASSISTANT/PUPIL ADMINRICHMOND- TWICKENHAMSTART ASAPTemp to Perm position Veritas are working alongside a secondary SEN school in Richmond that are looking to appoint a proactive, effective and efficient HR assistant ASAP. The individual will have the drive and ability to work independently, and provide an excellent service to staff, students and visitors, in this busy and well established school, ensuring that all the day to day duties are managed to an excellent standard. The qualified candidate should be a tenacious individual, who is resilient and confident in decision making. The HR assistant must be innovative, forward-thinking, be able to work under pressure and have an eye for detail.The school will consider strong candidates with office manager experience outside of education. Responsibilities across: * HR (incl. recruitment, applying for references, arranging cover, liaising with agencies) * Finance (incl. bookkeeping) Staff, student and finance filing* Pupil admin - data entry, SIMS management and dealing with pupil queries * The ideal candidate will be a fast learner and have outstanding organisational and administrative skills * Experience of working in a fast-paced, school environment is preferable. A passion for innovation in education is key

The school is walking distance from a mainline train station and also accessible by a number of popular bus routes. There is parking available at the school.

Key skills and experience needed:

  • Working in schools as office manager/ HR assistant/ head's PA
  • Knowledge of Progresso or SIMS - School Information Management System is desirable
  • Must have excellent IT skills including excel, word and outlook,
  • Professional manner. Proactive and organised.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, patient and meticulous approach
  • First Aid trained
  • MUST have a DBS on the online update service
