French Language Assistant

Expressions of interest are now called for a part time French Language Assistant to provide support to French language students and teachers at Rosebank College. This is not a teaching position. The Assistant will work one-on-one, in small groups and/or with the class to improve the proficiency and accuracy in speaking, reading, writing and listening. The Assistant will also provide support to the Languages teachers with teaching resources, extension activities and error analysis.

Key criteria:

  • · Native-level speaker of French
  • · Experience tutoring and/or teaching students preferred
  • · A relevant University degree (completed or ongoing study)
  • · Ability to demonstrate a high level of ICT skills
  • · Work effectively within a team environment to support the Catholic ethos and learning culture of the College
  • · Ability to demonstrate an understanding of current child safe principles
