We are seeking a Finance Officer to assist the Finance Coordinator with a variety of administrative and financial tasks to support the financial operations of the College. Reporting to the Business Manager and under the direction of the Finance Coordinator, you will provide support to ensure the College delivers on key reporting deadlines.
The successful applicant will be responsible for Accounts Payable and other finance administration duties including:
- Data entry of purchase orders and invoices
- Responding to enquiries regarding accounts
- Reconciliation of accounts
- Assist in Accounts Receivable when required including banking duties
- Assist in end of month preparation including reporting for Senior Leadership
The successful candidate would be able to demonstrate:
- Initiative and attention to detail
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Maintain confidentiality and discretion of College information
- High degree of organisation and the ability to effectively manage competing deadlines
- Proficiency in the use of software packages including Microsoft Suite
Qualifications and experience:
- Knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable is essential.
- Knowledge and experience with Unimarket and D365 is desirable
