English Teacher - St Albans - Outstanding School

An Outstanding secondary school in St Albans is looking for a dedicated English Teacher to join their team. You'll be joining a highly supportive department with excellent results, modern facilities, and an inspiring leadership team.

The role:

  • Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 available if desired)

  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

  • Supporting students to achieve excellent outcomes

    • Requirements:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification

  • Experience teaching English in UK secondary schools

  • A passion for literature, language, and helping students reach their potential

    • Details:

  • Location: St Albans

  • Start: January 2026 (or sooner)

  • Pay: £150-£250 per day (dependent on experience and pay scale)
