About this job

This role requires collaboration skills and technical know how to manage the planning and implementation of tasks, integrating feedback from the business whilst setting and continually managing the expectations of ACS operations, fostering a culture of total transparency. This role will ensure design, creation, packaging and maintenance of materials and resources for use across ACS membership product suite.

Key Responsibilities

Product development

  • Specifies solutions for use as training content within learning and development programs
  • Commissions or designs the development of learning materials, ensuring alignment to learning outcomes
  • Takes responsibility for the design, creation, packaging and maintenance and manages development to deliver agreed learning/education outcomes and content.
  • Deploy learning and education content to Learning Management System (LMS), including instructional design, content development, configuration and testing of learning environment, with appropriate use of technologies (e.g., audio, video, simulation and assessment).
  • Selects and adopts appropriate product development methodologies
  • Ensures end to end product management from conception all the way through to launch is actioned for new or refreshed products
  • Prioritises product development requirements and owns the education product backlog
  • Identify customer need within a new market, creates personas and design customer journeys
  • Ensures product positioning and variants for different stakeholders, customers and user segments
  • Coordinates trials and product launches and supports supplementary activities pre and post launch – training, communications, implementation
  • Supports growing revenue opportunities whilst improving customer experience and developing workflow efficiencies
  • Assess the effectiveness of learning or educational activities based on development targets
  • Act as the product expert to have a holistic overview and accountability of products
  • Contribute to the overall Product strategy of the ACS

Relationship management

  • Analyses market and/or user research, feedback, expert opinion and usage data to understand needs and opportunities.
  • Development business requirements and functional specifications for new products and enhancements to existing products
  • Provides advice and guidance on the selection, adoption and adaption of training and assessment methods, tools and techniques with stakeholders
  • Ensures education content is sources through internal or external relationships
  • Engage with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and develop content for existing and/or new education programs
  • Ensuring quality assurance and user acceptance testing completion for digital solutions which support new products
  • Innovate creative solutions combined with data analysis to solve customer/stakeholder problems
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry practices, training programs, products and resources to be able to provide high level advice
  • Work with staff, partners, stakeholders and customers, as required, in the development of products

Collaboration

  • Ensure cross functional readiness and launch products successfully
  • Work with customers and stakeholders to build, learn, iterate on product design through development cycle
  • Work collaboratively with ACS staff and stakeholders, as well as internal product innovation technical teams to iterate product enhancements and improvements
  • Identifies and drives initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness and embrace change in the business
  • Ensures internal, industry and client quality standards are met
  • Proactively identifies issues and solutions to enhance ACS Education products and services

Operational Excellence

  • Utilises available technologies and systems to continuously improve the effectiveness of business operations, improve automation and remove unnecessary labour
  • Identifies and drives initiatives that improve efficiency and effectiveness and embrace change in the business
  • Ensures internal, industry and client quality standards are met
  • Proactively identifies issues and solutions to enhance ACS Education products and services
