Hours per fortnight: Part-time, 36 hours per fortnight
Employment Agreement: Averaged - working 40 weeks per year, being paid for 52 weeks
Salary Range: $60,057 (full-time equivalent) plus superannuation
Start Date: Immediate (negotiable)

About the Role
The Classroom Support Assistant (Visual Arts) plays an integral role in supporting visual arts classrooms. Under the direct instruction of the Leaders of Learning Visual Arts, the Classroom Support Assistant (Visual Arts) position supports the Visual Arts Faculty to deliver a diverse and creative curriculum across a range of subjects including Visual Arts and Photography.
Essential Criteria
- Demonstrated organisational skills including the ability to prioritise, meet deadlines, use initiative and operate within a team environment
- Sound written and oral communication skills
- Experience in handling arts materials and equipment, including a kiln /or willingness to learn
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant Work Safety principles
Qualifications
- First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain
- Current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card or willingness to obtain
