Position Information
Wadalba Community School is a comprehensive Kindergarten to Year 12 school located in the Wyong local government area. With 260 students in the primary school, 1,200 in the secondary school, and approximately 210 Aboriginal students, the school offers a diverse and inclusive learning environment supported by 7 Support Unit classes. Strong partnerships with the Parents and Citizens' Association (P&C), active membership in the Ngara Aboriginal Education Consultative Group (AECG), and collaboration within the Tuggerah Lakes Network and Wadalba Learning Community underscore the school’s commitment to community engagement and shared success.
Renowned for its innovative teaching and learning practices, Wadalba Community School leverages expertise across its K–12. The Executive Leadership Team includes 15 members: 4 Assistant Principals (Primary), 11 Head Teachers (Secondary), 3 Deputy Principals (Secondary), 1 Deputy Principal (Primary), 1 Deputy Principal (Inclusion and Support), and the Principal, reflecting a robust leadership structure dedicated to supporting student achievement and wellbeing.

- Demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively to lead staff through the curriculum reform to successfully embed high-quality teaching, learning and assessment practices resulting in improved student outcomes.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively to build positive partnerships with students, families and the community
- The ability to work collegially with the executive team to identify, develop and lead initiatives to support the school's strategic directions.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the application process at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.
