Learn from national and international experts across the four streams as they provide theories, research and practical strategies, all supported by evidence, on how to improve outcomes for K–12 students.

Leadership

The leadership stream is for current and aspiring leaders to learn about emerging technologies, school improvement, collaborative leader development, mentoring and more.

Student Wellbeing

Learn about wellbeing strategies that will nurture resilience and empower students, understand the neuroscience involved and work on prevention strategies.

Teaching & Learning

Hear the latest research in the field of teaching and learning and put theory into practice across a variety of topics.

Literacy & Numeracy

Look at strategies to improve outcomes in Literacy and Numeracy across digital learning, flipped classrooms, social learning and more.

Who should attend

The Learning and Teaching Conference welcomes K-12 educators from any sector at any stage of their career. The streams allow delegates to focus on a particular area according to their role or interests. Relevant sessions will be tagged Primary, Secondary or K–12 to allow delegates to choose what is most applicable to them.

Keynotes and masterclasses

Each keynote will also present an optional masterclass to a limited group of 40 attendees. Masterclasses provide you with an in-depth opportunity to work with these well known educators.

Dr Alma Harris and Dr Michelle Jones

Dr Alma Harris' research work focuses on organisational change and development. She will be co-presenting with Dr Michelle Jones, whose current role is in development and internationalisation at the Institute of Educational Leadership, University of Malaya.
