Matraville Sports High School is a co-educational selective sports high school located in Sydney’s eastern suburbs with an enrolment of 310.
The school provides a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students including 35% Aboriginal enrolment, 23% from a language background other than English, and a support unit for students with intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder.
Matraville Sports High School is a member of the NSW Sports High School Association and provides elite coaching and performance pathways for athletes.
In addition the school is home to the UNSW-Matraville Education partnership which aims to extend the student experience through gifted and talented enrichment opportunities, enhanced teacher professional learning, and engagement with the school community.
