‘Humanistic’ UN report calls for govts to regulate AI in education

The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) is urging governments to better regulate the use of AI in schools.

The report raises the possibility that humans might one day cede basic levels of thinking and skill-acquisition processes to AI, choosing instead to concentrate on higher-order thinking skills based on AI-generated outputs.
