Wyee Public School is situated in the bush setting of Wyee, which is part of the Lake Macquarie Council area. The school is located geographically within the centre of Wyee and is seen to be a key part of the town and community.

The school has 171 students across eight classes, including 26 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.

The students and staff enjoy an attractive physical environment of many gardens, trees and wide-open play areas. The school prides itself on being a welcoming and friendly school, with a highly active and involved P&C, who seek to support the school through cultural and financial opportunities. We have strong partnerships with our local community, including our four partner primary schools and the local high school in our learning alliance (Western Shores Learning Alliance), the local Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, the local pre-school, and external agencies.

Our school provides a rich and varied range of educational programs which are designed to challenge, extend and interest students. The dedicated staff are a mix of highly experienced and beginning teachers, who have a strong commitment to data informed practice, collaboration and reflection, with a focus on personalised learning to support student growth and achievement.
